The 4-H Jumping and Dressage Program provides youth with the opportunity to develop skills in English riding disciplines, focusing on precision, balance, and communication with their horse.

Jumping: Riders learn proper position, rhythm, and control while navigating a variety of jump courses. Emphasis is placed on safety, correct technique, and building confidence over fences.

Dressage: Participants practice movements and patterns that improve their horse’s responsiveness, suppleness, and collection. The program teaches the fundamentals of classical dressage, emphasizing harmony between horse and rider.

Through structured lessons, clinics, and competitions, members enhance their horsemanship, sportsmanship, and riding abilities while developing a deeper understanding of equine behavior and training.
